About AMA
We are the ISU chapter of the largest professional marketing organization in the world. The American Marketing Association (AMA), established in 1937 is a not-for-profit organization. AMA is the largest marketing society in North America with over 400 chapters and over 75 professional chapters across the United States and Abroad. Through AMA, you’ll have access over 45,000 wide network of peers and professionals across industries and campuses. AMA at Illinois State
The American Marketing Association (AMA) at Illinois State University (ISU) was recognized for outstanding Professional Development and Communications. As well being one of the largest organizations making a significant impact on the College of Business. Working to provide members with opportunities for professional development, community service, and fundraising. Students connect professionally and personally with others who share similar passions and career goals. Members also gain valuable industry knowledge and insights while managing finances, people, projects, and deadlines. Creating and giving insights of the real world to prepare to succeed in the future before graduation.
Regional Whitewater Conference
An annual event hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater that brings together AMA collegiate chapters from across the Midwest. Students participate in career-building workshops, case competitions, and networking sessions with marketing professionals and fellow students. It’s an exciting opportunity to gain real-world insight, showcase your skills, and represent Illinois State University on a regional stage.
Climb the Ladder
AMA at ISU has a great opportunity for members to grow from member to leadership. Starting with the Director Board to Executive Board; giving every member a clear pathway to develop leadership, project management, and communication skills. Directors lead key areas like events, social media, recruitment, and membership, while Executive Board members guide the chapter’s vision and strategy.
